My Rods

Here are some rods I have restored and some I have made

A  7'6" 3pc rod I made for my youngest son, designed after a Divine 8' 3pc Rainbow. This rod works well  with a DT 4 line or a WF 5. The reel seat is by Bob Veneri.

F.E. Thomas Special Ca. 1930 9' 3\2 restored. Restoration involved removal of old finish without removing original wraps. Refinishing required replacing missing guides and wraps. constructing two completely new tips based on the taper of the remaining pieces of the originals and the upper section of the butt was scarfed to remove a rotted section. The ferrules were replaced with CSE Super Step Downs made to match the originals

This is the condition the restored A&F favorite (shown below) was in when I began the restoration. Two new tips were made based on the one remaining tip. The rod was striped. The ferrules were re-set and the snake guides were replaced with Pac Bay guides very similar to the original  and the rod was re wrapped in silk matching the original
