In the summer of 2004, St. Matthias was part of a trip to El Salvador with two other Diocese of Los Angeles congregations.
The Anglican Diocese of El Salvador is a companion diocese to the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Youth and young adults
from both dioceses shared work projects for ten days, while sharing Bible Study, Sunday worship in local congregations, and
their respective cultures.
