SEARCH BRIEFING –A short time ago, I was asked to chair the Search Committee. There are two questions now being asked of me…
1. How is the SEARCH going?
The process begins with the Parish Profile. It is important to be clear about who we are, what we value, and where we are going here at St. Matthias. One of the methods for gaining information for the Profile, is the Parish Survey. These have been collected and are being processed. Additional information will be gathered in order to present an honest and complete picture of our congregation. Only in this way, will we be able to call a minister willing to join with us in our mission. Once the Profile is completed and submitted to the Diocese, the committee can begin its work.
2. Who is on the SEARCH Committee?
A final list of members is not yet complete. Your input for possible membership will soon be sought.
