Main Hall is the most oft-photographed building on the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind
campus in Staunton, Virginia. For many deaf and blind students this is the beginning of the long journey to education, culminating
in secondary education or a career as self-sufficient citizens. As a result, the school has a special meaning in the hearts
of deaf and blind students. The bonds formed during the school days often last a lifetime.
The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind will be celebrating the 175th anniversary of its
founding in 2014. The VSDAA will be planning the reunion sometime during October 2014. Watch for future announcements!
