2C.  Marian Celeste Linz was born in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A., on Friday, July 15, 1921. Vernon Vincent Walatka was born in Baltimore on Tuesday, April 12, 1921. They were married in Sacred Heart Church, Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, July 28, 1943. She took the name Marian Celeste Walatka. She is the daughter of Conrad Julius and Anna Mary (Telljohann) Linz. He is the son of Vincent and Mary (Ulchinsky) Walatka. They had four children:

i. Vernon Vincent Walatka [#2CA]: He was born in Baltimore on November 14, 1944.
ii. Celeste Anne Walatka [#2CB]: She was born in Baltimore on February 21, 1948.
iii. Susan Dolores Walatka [#2CC]: She was born in Baltimore on April 10, 1955.
iv. David Kenneth Walatka [#2CD]: He was born in Baltimore on June 21, 1962.
