2P.  Janet Myles Linz was born in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A., on Saturday, April 26, 1941. She and Jane are fraternal twins. Kenneth Gerald Mack was born in Baltimore on Wednesday, June 21, 1939, and died in Baltimore on July 4, 1991. He died at home of metastasized lung cancer. He was buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Baltimore. They were married in Baltimore on Saturday, August 1, 1959. She took the name Janet Myles Mack. She is the daughter of Conrad Julius and Anna Mary (Telljohann) Linz. He is the son of August Howard and Margaret Alcantra (Dietrich) Mack. They had three children:

i. Janet Mary Anna Mack [#2PA]: She was born in Baltimore on October 23, 1963.
ii. Karen Jane Mack was born in Baltimore on September 22, 1969, and died on September 7, 1972. Hers was the first death of a descendent of Conrad and Mary Linz in two generations. She was born with a congenital heart defect and despite a pace-maker, died just before her third birthday.
iii. Denise Margaretann Mack [#2PC]: She was born in Baltimore on September 25, 1970.

Ken worked for Bethleham Steel at their Sparrows Point plant for most of his life. Janet stayed home and raised their children then helped with the grandchildren. Janet cooking was legendary. At dinner time, plates would be piled high with chickens, potatoes, and other family favorites; and it would all be eaten.

In about 2000, Janet was diagnosed with Parkinson disease.
