If you want to skip this blurb and jump right in, you can: look up a name in the index at the left, or go to my own page which is the root of the whole thing.
One of the reasons for this page is to give an example of what the genealogy pages look like. The background of the page should be a very light yellow. If it is not, then your computer has a very limited ability to display colors. The pages all have a title box at the top like this one which includes the generation of the family on the page and the name of the blood relation(s) to me. If this box is not lavender in color, then your software is old. The green big capital "T" at the beginning of the first paragraph should be in a sans-serif typeface; if it is not, then you have a limited set of fonts and may miss some subtleties
These pages take advantage of advanced features of Web pages. They all include JavaScript coding and some complex tables. The reason for telling you this is that some old Web browsers and computers with small memories may experience problems displaying the pages. If you go to a page and it does not have a title box in the style of the one above, then either your Web browser or computer cannot cope or possibly you have JavaScript "turned off" in your browser. I strongly suggest that you turn it on; it poses no security threat.
