The Suburban Coalition cordially invites representatives from your advocacy organization to join us for an important meeting on Thursday, February 5 at 7:30PM.

As we plan for probable decreases in local aid, it is imperative that we communicate with our legislators on reforms at the state level that will help municipalities through the current fiscal crisis without devastating cuts to essential services.

At this meeting, we will discuss key mandate relief proposals that are shared by the Suburban Coalition as well as other advocacy groups. We will provide the background and tools to help attendees communicate with legislators about the imperative need for reform. And, we will look for ways to coordinate efforts in advocating for change. We believe that by speaking with one, united voice, we will be better able to accomplish meaningful change. Working together, we all benefit.

We hope that you will be able to join us for this important event. In addition, if you have contacts with other grassroots and advocacy organizations that you believe would be interested in attending, please feel free to forward this invitation to them.

1. Take I 95N/MA-128N to Exit 27A Totten Pond Road towards Waltham
2. Stay on Totten Pond Road for 1.2 miles and take a left on Lexington St
3. Kennedy Middle School will be .6 mile on this road

From the North:

1. Take I 95S/ MA-128S to Exit 28, Trapelo Rd
2. Turn left onto Trapelo Rd towards Belmont
3. After 1.3 miles, turn right onto Lexington Street
4. Kennedy Middle School will be .9 mile on this road
