I have been complaining for some time, that time inverted recently. This could be said that varying
degrees of elegance, but I decided to assemble some of thousands of photographs that exist; as I make advances in progress,
I can see a mirroring effect. The past reflects the PRESENT, and the present very resembles the Past. I never
meant to leave it BEHIND. CAN ONE TRAVEL SAFELY BACK IN TIME? -- one shall see, with my webpage construction of
"DOPPLEGANGERS". See also, the WTC construction effort -- an engineering discussion, for those rather curious, and somewhat
unafraid of the heating and windproof components of their own homes. Never fear, existing projects shall not be abandoned.

That the below PBS show is still featured, as of this late date, is that it is related to current cirumstances
of re-building in Manhattan - NYC. Many excellent shows on PBS
have been aired since, and this is not to ignore Chinook salmon, and the like....! Check
your local station.
On Feb. 25, the
night of the Oscar's, PBS aired
"American Experience",which featured
the construction of New York CITY's subways, that began in 1904. The show also contained a few clippings of bridge construction from the
1800s, and definitely some inconvenient truths.
That "Global Warming",
is now also captured in Hollywood, and recognized with an Oscar for "An Inconvenient Truth" -- Al Gore wins -- link
here to see story. The following
truths can be quickly recognized:
- It is inconvenient to walk
or bike instead of take the car/a taxi or limo.
- It is inconvenient to take
a cold shower, on a daily basis.
- It is inconvenient
to have no air conditioning, or to put up with heat, when A/C is available.
- It is inconvenient to have
to cook, to keep WARM, or to set the indoor temperature at 50 deg Fahrenheit.
- It is inconvenient to live
in an old brick house, and not build a new one.
- And, it is inconvenient
to give up a luxury vehicle for a green hybrid.
- BUT, it is harder
to stop breathing, with this war on Carbon dioxide, or say "Nuclear power" will do it all.
A CO2 balance - shall one carry a leafy plant, a rock laden with algae, (or a small evergreen such as a bonsai), with one whereever one goes?
