Inventions corner (more car blogging)

The inventor’s lane continues here….  is it a GREEN EXTREME?*

For a green car, consider this – a self-cleaning vehicle.  It orders you out of the vehicle once a week when you are comfortably ensconced, and tells you to move it.  Time to clean.

Voice activation has its own set of difficulties, but an owner-programmable clock that can be turned on to use as an option might have value... For those who tend to log their miles, a car maintenance system feature, with light, medium, heavy/rugged, AND custom settings from the manufacturer, that you can adjust to remind your-self.

Some prefer less complicated features -- for example, stick shift over automatic transmission, and no electronic features beyond what is under the hood.  No extraneous sounds, certainly, that are not self-activated, would be welcome.  So please, any voice-activated features, should be off or ON.  Perhaps you can program a command to clean the car every three weeks, or other reminders, to the dash and from the dash (WITH HUMAN VOICE ONLY -  no wireless ENTANGLING systems).

The ultimate green car, would be completely solar in the summer, and gasoline-operated in the winter, and as-needed during DARKER MONTHS.  Is it possible to design a clear car, solar-paneled to use THE SUN AS A RESOURCE?  (Option to "tan" your house plants, while the car is parked during the DAY, AT WORK?)

More office features, that can be removed from the car, easily, in an enclosed state.  How about a built-in crock pot/large thermos space for a cross-country journey? This reminds one of how many aspects of "green-building" and "green-designing" there are to consider.   Can you collect your engine exhaust, and dump it off at the exhaust collection center?   Do you want to have built-in bins for collecting recyclables and transferring to a green collection center?

It would be awesome to see the green car fitted with composting bin, and vacuum station.  And, what of "do-it-yourself" recarpeting after a bad juice spill?  PERHAPS GREEN, IN THE MOST LIBERAL SENSE, WILL BE THE OPTION TO INSTALL ten of one hundred additional Green options, TO THE CAR, at the dealership.

*A car accident victim may be too nervous to drive in a vehicle with explosive fuels, as hydrogen.
Could MTBE 70 (sold direct from the dealership) be an alternate fuel for these vehicles?  See more at:  http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5387721-description.html.
