In some openings the enemy moves the Bishop out too far too soon. This King's Gamibit PGN diagram is an example, although this same idea occurs in other openings as well so keep an I out for it. When this happens we attack the Bishop with pawns, driving it further and further back until we can either capture it or render it impotent so that the enemy is working down a piece for all intents and purposes. This is in keeping with the general idea of exchanging, capturing or blocking up strong enemy pieces and also the idea of targeting and hunting them down whenever possible.
