In "Dynamic Chess" we don't just sit around and wait for things to happen. We make them happen! We use strong forceful tactics to take control of the board and force our opponents to do what we want them to do--resign! To be able to play this new and exciting kind of chess you need to build your chess stamina, you must do 100 tactical exercises a day. You can do this by going to The Chess Tactics Server or alternately The Chess Tactics Trainer or any of the many other such sites. And you must go to the Puzzles page on this site and work the Knight's Tour and other puzzles. I especially recommend the Troyis Knight Game. I put a lot of emphasis on knights because they are the first pieces out and if you seek to immediately outpost them strongly and have good skills in handling Knights, you could win games very quickly. The Knights are the kings of "Dynamic Chess." And you must study all of the themes and stratagems we have laid out throughout this site with a vengeance so that you know them, their names and ideas by heart.
For our opening repertoir we have chosen the King's Gambit for a number of reasons. First it hass a very high rating of wins statistically according to Opening Statistics. Second, it is a very tactical opening that leads to exciting games. If you have spent the time needed to learn your tactics you should do well with this opening. I realize it is not in fashion at the moment but I am not one for designer jeans. I would rather wear practical clothes than fancy clothes. Also the data bases are filled with interesting games played with this opening and one can easily go to those data bases and learn the tricks and traps of this opening.
Remember we are no longer 90 pound weaklings that allow bullies to kick sand in our faces and run off with the pretty girls in their bikinis. We are now the bullies of the bullies and we are out to get even!
