Premature Queen Attack
The rule of thumb is don't bring your Queen out too early. I like to call a Queen who pops out of the box at the beginning of the game "Marie Antoinette" because she is sure to get her head chopped off. Here's a game where White plays Qh5 on the second move.1. e4 e5 2. Qh5 Nc6 3. Bc4 g6 4. Qf3 Nf6 5. Qb3 Nd4 6. Bxf7+ Ke7 7. Qc4 b5 8. Qc3 Kxf7 *
The natural feeling is to want to attack the queen with 2...g6 (after 2.Qh5). However, this is the worst possible move on the board as Black's e5-pawn is undefended, allowing 3.Qxe5+, forking King on e8 and Rook on h8. Bearing this in mind, Black should defend his e5-pawn with the move 2...Nc6, which also develops a piece and helps to control the dark-square complex of the center. White will normally play 3.Bc4 here, to attack the f7 square again and threaten 4.Qxf7 checkmate. To defend this, Black can now play 3...g6, as White is no longer threatening to take the e5-pawn. The queen will most likely retreat with 4.Qf3, threatening checkmate one more time. Black calmly blocks with 4...Nf6. White will often try 5.Qb3 here, attacking f7 and threatening to take it with check. Black can pretty much ignore the threat and reply with a stronger threat: 5...Nd4! meeting 6.Bxf7+ with 6...Ke7! after which the Queen is attacked and the Bishop trapped. The Queen's only square which defends the Bishop is c4, so 7.Qc4 b5, and the Queen is forced off of the Bishop's diagonal. The King will capture the Bishop on the next move, emerging with the edge of a piece to a pawn.

Outlaw Tasers
Tasers are firearms that inflict pain and death and yet are being used by Police and private guards without provocation. Tasers should be outlawed not only in Canada where the incident below happened but also in the U.S. and throughout the world. This video shows that the man in Canada was Tasered even though he had nothing in his hands which were clearly visible and was complying to the orders being given to him.
