Respectful
Sharing about the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict:
Our Backgrounds,
Feelings, Views, Experiences, & Treating Each Other Well In structured incremental activities, in combinations of pairs, small groups, and the entire group, participants
explore their similarities and differences regarding their feelings about Israel & the Israeli/Palestinian conflict; learn
how people have been mistreated due to their views on Israel; and begin learning how to stop this mistreatment and to talk
constructively with people whose views are different.

Building
Community through Sharing Experiences Around the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict
A panel
of group members (selected in advance) shares what they like about talking about and working on this issue as a member of
the group, when it becomes difficult, and what others in the group can do to make the group supportive of them as members
even if they disagree with them. After the panel, participants work in pairs to share some of their reactions, and to
think about how the group could become more supportive of its members. Finally, the large group compiles a list of ways the
group could become more supportive of its members.
