Camp Program

Nearly 50 years old, the Camp Program is managed by Friendly Aid and is funded by various Wellesley agencies, civic organizations, religious groups, and our annual appeal. Wellesley Service League is the lead sponsor of this program.

The Wellesley Friendly Aid Association is dedicated to giving children, living at or near poverty level, an enriching summer camp experience. This year more than 70 Wellesley children have qualified for camp financial aid (up from 49 last year), with most living in public housing.

Local day camps, including Wellesley Recreation Dept. camps and WINGS, are the top choices.

Wellesley Friendly Aid is one of the town's oldest non-profit organizations serving the needs of residents.

With the exception of a part-time Executive Director, all of its programs, including the Wellesley Food Pantry, are run by volunteers.

Wellesley Friendly Aid's programs, including summer camp financial aid, are funded by donations.

Please help us send a Wellesley child to camp!
