The Clyde River Blockade Runner Camp Membership is dedicated and committed to the reporting and perpetuation of the "truth" and the "events" leading up to the War of Northern Aggression, those four (4) years and the correction of 140 years of both written and oral denial by the victors in the proper reporting of same.

The Clyde River Blockade Runner Camp is especially proud of its Confederate Ancestors who served the Confederacy in its Armies, Navy and  through Civilian and Diplomatic endeavor.

The lifeblood of the Confederacy, "the Blockade Runners" of the War of Northern Aggression usually began life as fast steam-powered merchant ships. They were adapted for the high-speed dashes through the Union blockade and for a large part of the war they brought much-needed food, clothing and weaponry to the Confederacy
