DO YOU THINK OUR FIGHTING MEN WOULD HAVE?

SONS OF DIXIE

I am Jefferson Davis
and I see a whole Army of my Countrymen
here in defiance of Tyranny

You have fought as Free Men
and Free Men you are

What will you do with that Freedom?
Will you fight for our Cause to the end?

Against that?  No, Our Commander wants no more lives lost, so we will surrender and we will live

Aye, fight and you may die
Surrender, and you'll live, at least a while

And dying in your beds many years from now
would you be willing to trade all the days
from this day to that

For, one chance

Just one chance

To continue the fight until our enemies are driven from our homeland or we will not return home

And tell our enemies

That they may take all our lives

BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE OUR FREEDOM!!

ALL ROADS LEAD BACK TO 1865
