Georg Lauterbach, Captain, Gruber's Company
Georg is a well-preserved 39 (for this day and age) with gray streaks in his blond hair and beard. He stands 180 cm and weighs 90 kg although he looks more slender than his weight suggests as most of the weight is muscle mass. His skin is leathered from weather which suggests a long acquaintanceship with the outdoors.
His posture is very erect and disciplined. His outward bearing is brisk, efficient, and straightforward. He seldom smiles although he is not by nature taciturn.
Eisen born and bred. Georg is not reportedly of the noble class and nothing is publicly known of his heritage. The first time that his existence was publicly acknowledged, near the beginning of the Eisen Civil War, it was as an apprentice to Josef Gruber, Captain of Gruber's Company, a mercenary company specializing in the use of artillery. Georg has been attached to that company ever since and assumed command on the event of Gruber's death. Gruber's Company has been under Georg's command for nearly 19 years during which time it's reputation has grown enough for it to be considered an elite unit, which reputation it upholds regularly in practice and deed.
