When roleplaying a Vodacce character try to speak with your hands. Be expressive. These collected phrases and accompanying gestures are based off Italian gestures. Disclaimer: I don't speak Italian myself and relied heavily on Eurocosm to create this list. Anyone wishing to correct me, please email miles2go@hotmail.com.

• Perfect! (wonderful) = Prefetto! (Both hands up near face in a double o-kay gesture) happily
• Perfect! (end of discussion) = Prefetto! (A hand sweep inward then out at face level in a chopping gesture)
• Please = Per favore! (folds hands in a praying gesture)
• I forgot = Mi sono dimenticata! (Hand to forhead and shake head in dismay)
• They give us a cut! = Dacci un taglio! (scissor gesture moving left to right across body)
• I didn't tell you that = Non ti dico! (wave hand like a tornado)
• How do you say...? = Come si chiama...? (Snaps fingers pointing)
• That was/You are Dumb! = Scemo! (make a pyramid with your finger and rotates hand left to right)
• It's not done = Non si fa! (Hand wave up and down from neck to waist)
• What do you want from me? = Ma cosa vuoi! (Both hands out in fists, shaking)
• Mmm good! = Mmm... buono! (Index finger extended to corner of mouth and twists)
• Yes or no ? = C'è da fare o no? (Pistol gesture with hand shaking back and forth)
• One moment please! or May I speak? = Un momento! (Raises hand with index finger extended)
• I'm hungry = Ho fame (rub belly)
• Listen! = Ascolta! (crooks a finger)
• What a stench! = Che puzza! (holds nose exaggeratedly)
• I cannot stand this situation/person/thing any longer. = Che peso! (Arm chest high, limp wrist hanging down, waves hand back and fort in a 'runalong' gesture)
• Robber = Rubare (wave hand in a grasping gesture) - This is a friendly expression not impolite
• You thief! = Tu rubi! (wave hand at person in grasping gesture) - This is a friendly expression not impolite
• What balls! = Che palle! (cups hands near waist)
• Enough already! = Porca miseria! (bangs fist against open palm)
• You're drunk = ...Ha bevuto! (bottle gesture to mouth)
• You've got it! = Mmm... ecco! (Claps hands and points to >problem solver<)
• He's a little crazy = È un po' toccato (circular finger wave around ear)
• I swear it. = Giuro. (extend both index fingers and crosses them in an 'x' over mouth)
• Say what? (disbelief) = Che cosa?? (Hand cupped over the ear as if you didn't hear)
• You turn my stomach (aversion) = Tu mi stai qui!! (fingers together in a pyramid pointing downward, tap stomach several times)
• You're very cleaver = Eh eh eh, furbacchione! (waggle finger at recipient)
• Puzzled sound = Mah! (Hand on chin.)

The Horns

Probably the rudest gesture in Vodacce is the Corna, or the horns. It is done with the index and pinky fingers extended like the horns on a bull. The hand goes up like a bull goring the intended.

It means the receipients spouse/partner is cuckolding them. Used by a man on another man it means more simply, "I'm screwing your wife/girlfriend". The gesture is vulgar in the extreme and never used in a polite company. It is usually results in a fight or a duel.

Note Bush is an alumni of UT Austin which uses this same gesture as their Hook'em horns sign. He's not giving us all the horns. :-)
