Tours & Programs
Visiting
The Witch House, the seventeenth century home of witch trial judge Jonathan Corwin, offers guided and self-guided tours which blend information about furniture, architecture, and lifestyle at the time of the witch trials.
The Witch House is open every day from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm during the open season.
The last admission is at 4:45 pm. Guided tours are about thirty minutes long and are available on the hour every hour from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Self-guided tours are available any time from 10:00 am until 4:45 pm.
During the 2008 season, the house will remain open until 6:00 pm on a Sunday-Thursday schedule, beginning Sunday, October 12th and ending Sunday, November 2nd. During the off-season, tours are available by appointment.

Group Tours
Group tours are available year-round with an advanced booking. To receive the group discount, groups must consist of 15 or more people, except by special arrangement. Due to structural limitations and the small size of the house, groups with more than 40 people must book more than one time slot.
During July, guided group bookings are accepted for the 10:00, 11:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 slots only. During October, guided group tours are available only for the 10:00, 11:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 slots. From Friday, October 10th until the end of the season, group bookings will not be accepted on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

School Groups receive one chaperone per 10 students free.

Upcoming Events
Hearth & Field Day
Visit the Witch House for Hearth & Field Day 2008! The historic reenactment group, Colonel Bailey’s 2nd Massachusetts Regiment, will be at the Witch House demonstrating aspects of Colonial life. Tours of the house will also be available. Please call or e-mail the Witch House for more information and tour admission rates.
17th Century Saturday
The Witch House will be participating in Essex National Heritage's 17th Century Saturdays, taking place on the first Saturday of the month, June through October.

Eerie Evenings at the Witch House
Eerie tales set in the ancient Witch House of Salem, a 17th-century mansion that was once the home of Witchcraft Trials Judge Jonathan Corwin. Eerie Evenings continues a twenty-year tradition of live storytelling, featuring costumed actors, startling stories, and authentic settings. Check back in late summer 2008 for more information about Eerie Evenings 2008!
