Eerie Evenings

Advance ticket sales for 2008 have begun. Please call (978) 744-8815 to order.

Produced by the writers and directors of Haunted City (City of Salem 2003-2006) and Eerie Events (Peabody Essex Museum 1985-2002), Eerie Evenings is six nights of eerie tales set in the ancient Witch House of Salem.

Each year original stories are performed in the darkened rooms of this 17th century mansion, once the home of Witchcraft Trials judge Jonathan Corwin. Eerie Evenings continues a tradition begun in 1985 of macabre storytelling, featuring costumed actors, startling new stories, and authentic settings.

Late Arrivals/Refund Policy

We strongly recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your show time, as we do not refund tickets to people who arrive late or do not show up for a performance.

In order to avoid disturbing the actors and audience, we may ask late arrivals to wait until the first story is finished before joining the rest of the audience for the next story.

* Refund requests made before tickets are mailed will be processed upon receipt of request.
* Refund requests made after tickets are mailed but before the show date, will be processed after the ticket holder mails back his/her tickets.
* Refunds will not be given after the show date, even to ticket holders who do not attend the performance.

FAQs

How many stories are there?
For 2008, there will be three one-actor stories.

Is this appropriate for children?
Nothing in our stories is inappropriate for children, but the stories were written with an adult audience in mind. As a result, some children find the stories difficult to comprehend, while others still enjoy the performances.

How late can I buy tickets?
Reservations are highly recommended, since we can only accommodate 20 people per time slot. We continue to sell tickets until all seats are sold out, but some shows will fill up faster than others, so we recommend buying tickets in advance.

How long does it take?
This year, there are three one-actor stories. Each should last about 15 minutes, so allow 30-40 minutes for the entire performance.
