July 1905, John William, Jr. was the Executor. Named were John Sr.'s widow
Sarah A. Weekly (note the name was spelled here without the e); Margaret (Dau.)
Wright, Wilson Wright, Martha (dau.) Myers, Wm. Myers, Jennie (dau.) Myers
James Myers (I am uncertain as to his connection; but, I believe this is Amos),
Charles Weekly, Ada (Priest) Weekley, Rosa (Weekly) Johns, Elmer Johns, Jay
Weekley, Anna (Weekley) Priest, Homer Priest, John W. Weekly and Alda (Shoults)
Weekley, also John (last name I can not read but looks like Creager, or
similar. I can not find this name in my data). All of these people were named
as Defendents. Judge Walter A. Irvine presiding on the 1st day of September,
1905. Text follows:
Petition.....Plaintiff represents that he was
on the 13th day of July, 1905, duly appointed and qualified Executor of the
estate of John W. Weekly, his father, of Licking County, Ohio and is still
acting as such executor.- That the amount of debts due from the deceased is
about Nine hundred dollars ($900.) as near as they can be ascertained. (a
schedule of which debts is hereto attached marked Exhibit A)-Charges of
administration of said estate will amount to about One hundred and twenty five
dollars, ($125.00) and that the total value of the personal estate and effects
of said deceased is but Two hundred fifty two dollars, being wholly
insufficient to pay the debts and costs of the aforesaid. The plaintiff further
represents that said John W. Weekly, Sr., died seized in fee simple of the
following described real estate,-situate in the County of Licking, State of
Ohio, and Township of Fallsbury-described as follows,- Being the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter and the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of section 17, Township 4 Range 10 containing eighty (80) acres of land more or

retired farmer, died March 7, 2001, at Arlington Nursing Home. She was born
Aug. 6, 1910, in Madison Township, Licking County, to the late John William and
Alda Myrtle (Shoults) Weekley. Mrs. Philipps was affiliated with Welsh Hills
Baptist Church, was a lifetime charter member of World War I Veterans 936, a
30-year member of Navy Mothers Club of America 156, 20-year member of VFW Post
1060, American Legion Post 85 Auxiliary and was an honorary member of Women's
Army Corps Veterans Association. She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Philip and Opal Philipps, Jr. of Galesburg, Ill., Kenneth
Earl Philipps, and Robert Lester and Janice Philipps, all of Granville;
daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Tillman Taylor of Tacoma, Wash.; son-in-law
William Casey of Fort Worth, Texas, 22 grandchildren; numerous
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Philipps on July 5, 1964;
daughter Pearl Louise Casey; four brothers; and six sisters. No calling hours
will be observed. Criss-Kirkpatrick Schoedinger Funeral Service is in charge of
arrangements.

Peterman, 85, of Johnstown died July 11 at Northview Senior Living Center. A
homemaker, she was born Dec. 21, 1912 in Licking County to the late Alda
(Shoultz) (sic Shoults) and William John Weekley (sic John William Weekley,
Jr.). She was a member of Welsh Hills Baptist Church and was formerly employed
by Technical Rubber and Nestle's. Surviving are: Two daughters and sons-in-law
Ruth and Charles Bemiller of Johnstown and Wilma and Jenoah LaRue of Fredonia;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Katie Peterman of Columbus and
Walter and Jean Peterman of Virginia; a sister, Bertha Phillips of Newark, a
brother, Bill Weekley of Newark; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; five
great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Walter Glenn Peterman; her parents; a daughter, Barbara
Hall; and four grandchildren. Services were held on July 14 at Crouse-Kauber
Funeral Home. Burial was in Hartford Cemetery.

Services for Walter
G. Peterman, 68, of 30 Oregon St., Croton, will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Crouse
and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Hankinson officiating. Burial will
be in Hartford Cemetery, Croton. Mr. Peterman died Friday morning in Licking
Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was born Aug.
8, 1907, in Monroe Twp., Licking County, to the late Frank and Blanche (Dague)
Peterman. He was a member of the Welsh Hills Baptist Church of Granville,
Modern Woodmen of America, National Association of Retired Persons, and a
retired roaster operator of the Nestle Corp., Sunbury, retiring in 1970.
Surviving are his widow, Alice (Weekley) of Croton; three daughters; Mrs.
Dwight (Barbara) Hall of Croton, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Bemiller of Johnstown and
Mrs. Jenoah (Wilma) LaRue of Rt. 3; (sic - Newark); two sons W. Roland Peterman
of Woodbridge, Va. and Kenneth A. Peterman of Granville, a sister; Mrs. Doris
Freas of Rt. 6 (sic Newark) two brothers, Charles Peterman of Rt1 Johnstown and
Roy L. Peterman of Harrisonburg, Va; 20 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Two brothers and four grandchildren are dead.

years ago from Sears in the Service Department. Member of the Central Christian
Church, Harriett Circle, Charter member of the AARP and a member of the Local
AARP, Land of Legend Travel Club, See More Travel, Buckeye tours, Sears
Retirees Club, member Chapel Class, former Red Cross volunteer at Veterans
Hospital in Chillicothe and member of the Dawes Arboretum. Preceded in death by
husband, Wilbur J. Stricker, August 1, 1981, 6 brothers and 1 sister. Survived
by sons, David Stricker of Columbus, Dr. Daniel Stricker of Newark; daughter,
