DAGUE
--------
A reunion of Mathias Dague Descendents was hosted by Matt &
Shawndell Wilson on July 12, 2008. Although the attendance was
light, the food was faboulous, our hosts were great and we were able to
share and learn a lot about our ancestor. A BiAnnual Reunion is under
consideration, but there are no details at this time.
The
Bienial reunion of the descendants of Frederick Dague will be held on
August 8, 2009 at the Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department in
Moundsville, WV. Eva Dague has snail mailed and I have e-mailed to as many people as we have valid addresses for, providing details of this year's reunion. If you did not receive the messages or wish additional information, please e-mail Eva egdague@verizon.net or I at wjp1949@verizon.net
---The 2003 reunion celebrating the 250th anniversary of our ancestor's arrival in America is Now History, see GET DETAILS

FAMILY REUNION
Dear Shoults Family Members:
We have decided to change our annual Reunion meeting place from
Moundbuilders State Park to the Newark Rotary Pavilion on Sharon Valley
Rd. Last year we had trouble getting enough tables into the shelter
house and the surrounding area to accomodate everyone. If it had not
been for some nice young men moving the heavy tables for us we would
not have had them reserved. The floor in the shelter was rough
cobblestones and the elderly and handicapped had trouble walking on it.
This year we have reserved an open shelter house for $50 from 11 to 5
PM. There are tables with benches for around 150 people. There are
electrical outlets. The parking lot is paved and there are paved
walkways to the restrooms. There is a paved bike trail and playground
equipment for the children.
The 87th annual reunion will be held on July 13, 2008 at noon. Bring a
covered dish or two, beverages to share, table service for your own
family and lawn chairs if you wish to use them. There will be a brief
family business meeting and election of officers after the dinner. A
collection will be taken to fund next years reunion. Please notify all
your relatives of the date and change in the meeting place in case we
miss a few of them.
Hope to see you there!
