and Townships of Belmont County,page 401. : John Weekly was born February 13,
1813; reared a farmer, and obtained a common education. April 23,1835 he was
married to Miss Catharine Beckett, who was born July 11, 1813. By this union
were twelve children,four sons and eight daughters, six of whom are living.
After his marriage he lived on a farm in Smith township, remaining one year;
then lived in Morrow County a few years. In 1856 he moved back to Smith
township, on a farm known as the Byron farm, located on Section 16. He
purchased it in 1866 and still resides thereon. He and his wife are members of
the Centerville M.E. church.

Scott Bigby writes: William was born circa
1804, probably in Culpeper County, Virginia. Within a few years of his birth,
his family moved to Eastern Ohio, where William remained for nearly the next
six decades. William lived and farmed in Middlebury Township, Knox County Ohio,
at least through 1861. Probably shortly after the close of the Civil War,
William-by then a widower- moved the remainder of his family, including at
least one of his married daughters and her husband, north to Lake County
Michigan. He died in 1884, and was buried in Chase, Lake County, Michigan.
William married Mariah (Phoebe) Ewers, most
likely in Ohio. Phoebe was born April 23, 1816 in Virginia. She died in 1861 in
Palmyra , Knox County Ohio, and was buried in Levering Cemetery, Waterford,
Knox County Ohio. All of the children of William Bigbee and Phoebe Ewers were
born in or near Fredericktown, Knox County, Ohio.

Royal Bigbee. He was born in 1849 in Richland County Ohio(?), and appears to have
lived in that area all his life, (1860 census); and gravestone per Starmer). He
died in 1937, and was buried in the North Fork Cemetery near Waterford, Morrow
County Ohio.
Royal married,
first, Alice S. // , who was born in 1852. She died in 1885, (Starmer,
gravesite visit 1998). He married, second, Susie A. // . Susie was born 1852
and died in 1923. Both of Royal's wives are buried in the North Fork Cemetery,
(Starmer gravesite visit 1998).
