THE WILL OF Margaret(Boyer) WEEKLEY
The Last Will and Testament of
Margaret Weekley
In the Name of the Benevalent Father of All.
I, Margaret Weekley of the City of Newark, County of Licking and State of Ohio.
Being of sound disposing mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of
human life, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, revoking all
others by me made.
1st. My Will is that all my just debts and funeral charges shall 1st be paid.
Item 2nd. I give and bequeth to my beloved Son John W. Weekley One No. 9 Cook
stove with all the utensils connected with it, one lounge with bedclothes,
tick, spread pillows and colored quilt, the said goods are in my house in
Elizabethtown Licking Co. and also one third of all money I may have at my
death, it now being in a $750.00 note made by John Hoover and due me.
Item 3rd. To my beloved Daughter Julia Ann Dunn I give and bequeth the kitchen
stove all kitchen utensils in her house in Newark O. the carpets on the floor
and one half the Dishes now in my possession, and one third of all monety I may
have at my death it now being in a $750.00 Note made to John Hoover and due me,
and one bed and Bedding and bedstead.
Item 4th. To my beloved Daughter Margaret Hupp I give and bequeth one half of
the dishes in my possession and one third of all money I may have at my death,
it being in a $750.00 note made by John Hoover and due me, also about 40 yards
of carpet at my house in Elizabethtown. I also give and devise to said Margaret
Catherine Hupp all my real estate in Elizabethtown consisting of one house and
lot which I have made a deed for to said Margaret Hupp now in the possession of
Hugh Fleming.
Item 5th. To my beloved GrandDaughter Dora Hupp I give and bequeth one feather
bed one straw bed, bolsters and pillows two quilts 1 Blanket one bed stead and
one Rocking Chair, two Sheets and one comfort and one 50 dollar note due me
from Dr. Hornby, one half due in August 1893 and the balance in August 1894.
Item 6th. To my beloved Grand Daughter Clara Hupp I give and bequeth two
Windsor chairs one bureau.
Item 7th. To my beloved Grand Daughter Ollie Hupp I give and bequeth one table.
Item 8th. To my beloved Grand Daughter Margaret Wright I give and bequeth 1
stand, 1 safe and Kitchen chairs.
In whereof I have signed sealed and published and declared this my last Will
and Testament this 24th day of June 1893.
