Can sport scale judging (if being flown) be done on a Fri evening? What events? I can help with suggestions for easy events that won't take up a lot of time and effort (I'm pushing here for a one day regional) b) That I have the Point Award Sheet in my hands by July 13. I will accept "Contest Manager" file. On the sanction application, put down the contest date as June 30... special exception of running over into July 1. THERE WILL NOT BE A RAIN DATE AND IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER... Unfortunately, July 1st (the >next contest year) is that Sunday. Would this wreck havoc with the >administration? I'd say *planning* to straddle the contest year is not a good idea (like bringing up the question of just which contest year should it count towards?). I know of at least one past NCBChairman who wouldn't allow a meet to be *continued* into the next contest year. It usually is a bit of a push to get all of the late June meets done and compiled prior to NARAM (think of CPAs in mid-April), so a June/July meet wouldn't help. Try running it by Tom Lyon, he's da man with da power! With the June 30/July 1 weekend, there are probably other CDs thinking along the same lines, so an official statement would be helpful.
