Dear NAR Northeast Region Contest Director,

     I am writing you to inform you that I will be assuming
the duties of the Northeast Region Contest Board Chairman-
ship.  Art Rose has served the area's rocketeers well in this
position for many years and I hope to continue this service.

     This change will become effective with the new contest 
year --- Art will complete his work for this contest year and
I will begin the new contest year with a clean slate.  If you
have meet results or questions pertaining to the current 
season ('91-'92), please refer these to Art.  Contest 
sanctions or any other business concerning the new season 
('92-'93) should be sent to me.

     If you know me or have flown at some of the meets I have
CD'ed, you know that I tend to go by the book, with a bit of 
common sense thrown in where necessary.  I'd like to see 
flying in this region to go by the spirit of the Pink Book, 
allowing modelers to test their skills in well-run, fair 
contests.  I'd like to see each of you strive towards this 
goal.  Do your paperwork correctly and on-time and we'll both
be a lot happier.

     I have enclosed an Application For Contest Sanction 
(CB-3-80) with my address on it for your use (feel free to 
make copies as necessary).  If you have any questions, don't 
hesitate to contact me.
