This is where you'll find all kinds of model rocket information. Major highlights include an online presence for the NAR's Northeast Regional Contest Board and a link to ASTRE Online (Wolf von Kiparski's web site).

Honest John Photo
I was asked by John Missing on RMR for some information on the old Estes BT-55 size Honest John kit. I mentioned a photo that I used to paint my Sport Scale model. The photo, at right, is a shot of the late-model Honest John in a special "test pattern" paint scheme from a test flight at White Sands. Cool, isn't it? Better than that old olive drab type stuff, eh?
The photo is from The Illustrated Encyclopedia of the World's Rockets & Missiles by Bill Gunston, published by Leisure Books, copyright Salamander Books, Ltd., 1979. The photo is credited to the U.S. Army. Click on the photo at right for a larger (3x, 149K) image.
