If I recall correctly (yes, I should have written this stuff down!), this image is from the Parrotilobe series as well (from which Me[n]talMa[n]ster and pTarotdaxtel were created). Obviously there were some drastic changes made along the way.
The name is derived from the shape of the "headdress" on the central circular figure, which reminded me of a pharaoh's headdress; and also was my reaction as the image was being produced the first time I saw it. The precursors had similar swirls of color at the top of the image, and as it was drawing, I thought "This one is fair." But when the circle with its tiny central landscape with a purple sun in the sky was revealed, my reaction was "oh, whoa!", as this had not been a part of any of the precursor images.
The central part of the circular area reminds me of a mirrored gazing globe.
