This image is the first of a new series. As I recall, this one came rather easily as I tried a new set of equations, that as it turned out, were very productive.

The name obviously derives from the circular shape with "eyes", which looks to me like an anthropomorphic sun face. This image appears as a landscape to me, with mountains on the horizon and broad flat plains in the foreground. I especially like the blue and purple shadings into white, and the white and yellow highlights around some of the features; but the most striking feature is the sun with eyes.
