During the course of finding the Me[n]talMa[n]ster image, I'd found an interesting "background", not really good enough to use as a stand-alone image, consisting of swirls of various colors. I decided to try combining the Me[n]talMa[n]ster equations with the background image equations, and the resulting image was very close to the final pTarotdaxtel image.

The original images were part of a series saved with the name Parrotilobe, since they looked "bird-ish" to me. This image reminded me of a pterodactyl, and the name pTarotdaxtel combines that reference with the words pixel and/or textel (a texture element).
