Battens go on better if done one at a time. The glue usually sets up in a couple of hours.

Time to start covering the hull using the skin from an old Mahogany hollow core door.

It's a good idea to dry run the clamping method before using the glue.............

Now that the first skin is on, the next piece gets harder to clamp down............

We made a special fixture housing the hull to facilitate the use of small wooden wedges .

A dry run helps knowing in advance how to clamp. The wedges work great for the hard to reach surface
