We preserved the "Mill Finish" on the sheet stock rather
than sand or buff a grain on the material. Graining the steamer would just allow any scratches made from normal use to show.
There are a few spots on the outside that we carefully buffed the burn marks from the welds on the inside. Over time
the "Mill Finish" gets a frosty tinge. The pictures you see are the steamer after more than 20 years being stored outside
with no cover.
