Barkitecture 2005
Last April 3, 2005 at The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset was held Barkitecture 2005. The gala event featured a live auction of designer abodes for the four-legged sophisticate. Created by renowned architects, builders and civic & community organizations from across New England, these doghouses and cat condos were auctioned off to raise funds for Hull Seaside Animal Rescue.
In collaboration with Burbridge Construction and Tamara Metz Design, Paws By The Sea created “The Alpine Dog Chalet” which won the Best of Show Prize and was sold for over $1000.00.
Paws By The Sea is proud to have participated in the event since its creation. See you next year! |
The Alpine Dog Chalet was the crowd’s favorite and won The Best of Show. It was designed for Bernese Mountain Dogs, Saint Bernards, or any discerning large size dog with an appreciation of fine Swiss craftsmanship. With quality construction and materials inside and out, including weatherproof stucco finish, stained exposed timber, and cedar shingles, this home brought together the best in canine comfort and classic Alpine design. |
