A free initial consultation
with the pet and its owner(s) will be scheduled to
expose the pet sitter and the pet(s) to one another.
During this consultation,
the pet sitter will question the owner(s) about the
vaccines, registration, habits, behaviors, special
care, medications or other needs that the animal might
require. The pet sitter must interact with the animal
during this first consultation to judge if our services
are adequate for the animal's needs.
If the animal and the pet sitter seem to have an acceptable first meeting,
the pet sitter will explain the service contract to the owner. The service
contract is a document that protects both the owner and pet(s) as well as the
pet sitter. It is, in short, a document to which the pet sitter can refer for
any question. It requires information about the client, the home, the pet,
and terms and conditions of the service explaining its duration, frequency,
rates, liability, etc. The pet sitter will also provide the client with references
upon request.
Daily
Daycare ( Monday thru Friday)
Include pick up (8:00-10:30 am) and drop off (3:00-5:30

The dogs may enjoy 3 areas at the day care: a grass field
area, a crushed stones area in case of rain or snow and an
inside area with dog blankets, dog beds and music. Some of
the dogs prefer being outside all day while others, like
to take a mid-day nap inside. We also just added an area
with agility equipments.
The daycare will be closed on specific holidays and reserves
the right to be closed at any given time but will formally
notify clients in advance.

Dog Boarding
Reservations as far in advance as possible are required.
While we are not a kennel and do not regularly provide overnight
boarding, “ Paws by the Sea” can make special
accommodations for our “regular” or “referred” clients. “ Paws
by the Sea” reserves the right to deny any pet. We
will board on a first come, first serve basis.
For all 3 services, proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including
Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza,
Parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough) must be presented
before dog(s) allowed on premises or visited at home. Flea-Infested
pet(s) must be treated before “Paws By The Sea” will
care for them. We also required all dogs to be on a “flea
and tick” control program and hearthworms prevention.
In case of damages done by any animals on or to “Paws
By The Sea” facility and property, the client will
be expected to pay for repair and/or damages. A 50% advanced
deposit is required for pet boarding. The balance is
due when the client picks up its happy pet(s).
