Point of Contact 2: An'daroth

At the beginning of the quest Investigate An'daroth, an aristocratic Blood Elf named Dame Auriferous tells you that Night Elves have set up a beachhead on an island off the coast, from which they sent an advance team to An'daroth, an "old high elf ley-line nexus." As you may know, ley lines are the basis for generation and transmission of much magical power. The Night Elves may be stealing power from the ley-line grid, sabotaging it, or possibly monitoring the system in the belief that Blood Elves are conducting dangerous experiments like the one that originally destroyed the great Sunwell that was the basis of ancient Elven civilization. The quest explicitly requires you to kill of 12 of the Night Elf spies, and to investigate the site - which means approaching close to the mysterious energy-machine structure in the center. So, you must either kill fully a dozen of our sundered brethren or abandon the quest. The choice is yours. |
