Doctor Who is a great show but, let's face it, there are only so many times you can see the same episode on tape, alone, before it begins to get old. But watching the episodes together with other fans, it becomes a social phenomenon, a shared experience, and some of the excitement you felt when you watched the show for the first time begins to come back.
The Doctor Who Viewing Society of Boston/Cambridge will meet monthly for episode viewings. At least some of these meetings will double as potluck dinners, (vegetarian, for our veggie members), and we may also watch an episode or two of Red Dwarf, Farscape, Buffy, etc., if those attending so wish.
PLEASE feel free to join even if you have no tapes or DVDs to share. We already have a fairly extensive library of videos/DVDs and nearly all of the Big Finish CDs and while we would love to expand our repertoire, contributions are NOT required.
