OFFICAL WEB SITE OF WU-WEI GUNG FUEach student is promoted by their respective instructor. The instructor has their own proficiency level examination for their various levels. The basic sash° level breakdown is Blue, Green, Brown, and Black. Some instructors use a single level for the lower sashes (Blue, Green, and Brown). Other instructors have multiple levels per sash color and delineate each sublevel as a Boxer Class. The requirements for each sash level are basically the same. However, each instructor may incorporate additional examination requirements from their various martial art education.
°SASH -- Since Wu-Wei is Chinese based a sash is used rather than a belt.
