Ilona left a comment saying she wants to see some of the dyed yarn knit up. Well, D started on a
Yarn Harlot One Row Scarf out of color he calls, "Arizona Sunset."
I thought the "tye-dye" style yarn would look fabulous in Linen Stitch. However, D didn't much like the pattern and if
I want to see it completed I will have to do it myself.
Lastly, D made his very own combs:
What you see in the picture (besides his own homemade combs) is an uncombed "Mystery Batt" from
Fantasy Fibers. It's got wool and bits of mohair, and other mystery stuff. He hasn't spun this blue stuff yet, but he will probably mix
it with some white to tone it down a bit.
D did spin a bunch grey roving and started making his own scarf!
I was almost done with D's sweater when it got hot.
Meanwhile, Dennis mostly worked on this during the summer:
When the weather turns cooler, I can't wait to get back to knitting the warm wooly items. But for now, it's another 80
degree day.
