I still have my DIY Goodmans homemade
projection panel and my Dalite 5000 overhead projector, However, I only use the
DIY projector now for movies outdoors or special occasion setups like Halloween
.
I have gone the more traditional route with my indoor Home
Theatre. I know have a refurbished Epson Powerlite Home 20 LCD projector which I use with a Focupix
92" diagonal electric/automatic 1.3 gain projection screen and a
refurbished Vizio 47"
LCD TV that I bought from onSale.com. The projector and the TV I bought refurbished and have had
excellent results with both. The projection screen , although not a well know
brand has also, been excellent.
Refurbished items are returned to manufacturers , determined by the manufacturer that nothing is wrong with them, returned to manufacturer specs and resold as "refurbished". Most refurbished merchandise is sold with a manufacturers warranty. As you can see below , I saved hundreds of dollars.
