  • February 5 2002. Dawn 5.11 released to fix Windows 2000 problems
  • January 3 2002. Dawn 5.1 is released fixing a slew of bugs and supporting many new features. Among the most important are the Outlook 2002 support fix, and Pegasus Mail support fix for full Pegasus 4.x compatibility.

  • October 1997 - Dawn 3.1 mends the big mess and adds CSV support instead of the overly ambitious fully customizable nightmare that was in 3.0.

  • April 29 1997 - The final version of NACWoNaF 2.0 is released, and a new undertaking is announced. An evolutionary step, to be sure, but a historical one. Tentatively called "Project Dawn" it promises that one day conversion will go beyond Netscape and Nicknames will be converted as well
  • Late 1996 - NCP development is abandoned as the world goes 32-bit and Netscape turns 4 (4.0 that is) prompting a renaming of the effort into a now silly-sounding acronym - NACWoNaF (Netscape Address book Converter for WindOws Ninety Five - the a is gratuitous)
  • March 8 1996 - NCP (Netscape Conversion Program) 1.0 beta 1 16-bit is out - This initial release supported a one-way conversion from an address list to a Netscape 3.x HTML Address Book with only the addresses (not the nick names) carried over
