Striker's Music

Music is just on of my talents, hobbies, and hopefully something I will do in my future career. I've been doing compositions for awhile and still have a lot to learn. Check out a lot of my music on this page. Share with friends.

Video Game Remixes
Casino Jazz Club Jazzing up a remix of Casino Night Zone (2-player vs. version) from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 back on the Sega Genesis. I'm a big fan of jazz, but this was done with Modplug Tracker before I got a better understanding of Jazz and Music Theory. -Jonathon Striker, 2005
Raiden Level 1! A collaboration work remixing the music to the first level of a shooter called Raiden. Using Modplug Tracker, we used voices with the remix as a little fun to sound like we were really a part of the game. Probably not the greatest mix, but it was fun to do. Special Thanks to my sister Christine, and girlfriend Sarah. -Jonathon Striker & Kitsune, 2004
Return to the Palace One of my Favorite games back on the Commodore 64 was The Last Ninja, and one of my favorite songs was the Palace. Originally I had an idea to remix it for a game someone by the alias SoA was doing called The Last Ninja Engine or also known as The Legend of SADE. Well My piece didn't go to the game, but remained as just a remix for people to listen to. This is my mix of Ambient and Hip-Hop to the theme of the Palace. -Jonathon Striker, 2003
Techno Axe Remixed again, the boss music of Golden Axe. This time using synthetic sounds, a loop, and a very simplistic techno rhythm. Probably not danceable. -Jonathon Striker, 2003
Charge onto the Battle Field Remix from the boss music of Golden Axe. This was done in a somewhat electronic symphonic style with Modplug Tracker. -Jonathon Striker, 2002
Distortions From Dark Matter Being into video games, especially Role-Playing Games, the Theme of Magus was definitely one that caught my attention. After listening to many video game remixes on Overclocked, and learning much about Modplug Tracker, it was time to put what I knew to work. My remix is fast, and takes what was originally a 3/4 time signature and put it to 4/4. Howling voice from the game, laughing is my friend Alfred, and scream is me. -Jonathon Striker (Chase), 2002
