My Profile

As A Christian:
They say Christianity is a faith, not a religion. As a Christian, I believe in God, and Jesus Christ. I have been Baptized at Montrose Baptist Church, but I do not consider myself a Baptist because a denominational identity leads to division, and mankind suffers enough because of it. I believe in the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. I believe in unity of the people, and one nation under God, even if it may not come to be in my life time.
I am a strong disbeliever in division of race and religion. The world constantly tries to divide us by these conditions, between Blacks and Whites, rich and poor, even by the denomination of our faith and religion. It seems people may never realize that no matter what your ethnic background is, what you see is a Man. No matter how rich or poor you may be, money, fame, and other possessions will mean nothing when your time comes to an end. No matter whether you are Lutheran, Baptist, Catholic, Anglican, or any other form of Christian, you are a believer and follower of God, and you believe in only one God. People will always have their differences and disputes, but if mankind were to look at the big picture, we'd realize we all have the same purpose, even if we may take different paths to reach our goal.
I've heard a lot of things, played a lot of things, and watched a lot of things. I believe my life is meaningless if I can not enjoy it to my full potential. Some people don't understand my interests, or understand my mentality, but they can easily see I am my own person with a strong will and little to no regrets. Despite how I may sometimes act, despite my differences of opinions with others, I believe in my own journey, my own faith, and my own destiny.

As A Musician:
I'm a performer, but a composer before that. As a musician, I create music on the computer of many styles and genres due to my influences.
My favorite genres are Jazz, Funk, Techno, J-Pop, and J-Rock, but I also get into just about any else from Classical to Hip-Hop and even some Latin, but not Country. I've recently developed an interest for Blues, which I like more of the jazzy style blues than the stuff that seems more whiny, and Hip-Hop, due to recent exposure to Christian Rap and Japanese Hip-Hop music. I've never really had a big interest in the lyrics, so when I'm listening to any music, don't expect me to understand what they are saying.
Most of my music interests, I must admit, is the music found in video games. I've always loved the 8-bit and 16-bit work of video game music by artists such as Martin Galway, David Whittaker, Masato Nakamura, Ben Daglish, Anthony Lees, Maniacs of Noise, Yuzo Koshiro, Falcom Sound Team JDK, Motoi Sakuraba, Noriyuki Iwadare...  this list could go on. You should just know that Video Game Composers inspire me, and of all the music I want to make, VGmusic is what I'm aiming for.

As A Gamer:
Some consider me a Party Gamer, while other know me as a Recreational Gamer. It's been about 18 years now, from Commodore Vic 20 to Xbox 360. Call me a Generational Gamer.
As a Gamer, I'm pretty much into giving anything a shot if it is of my style and interest, or if I know it'll make for great co-op and competition that I can enjoy with my friends and family. A good Mario Party, some Halo havoc, wrecking and racing in Burnout, Smash Bros. brawling, Bombman blasting, and some good ole' Tetris is definitely is a big hype for us. An occasional Donkey Konga, Madden, Wii Bowling, and Advance Wars can change the mood set, but gaming is gaming.
When I game solo, RPGs are my point of interests. A long game with a good story, inventive characters and themes, some puzzles, fighting, and lots of music. Why read a fantasy or Sci-Fi novel when you can play it? I've been into RPGs and strategy games since the days of Shining Force and Ys III: Wanderers from Ys, maybe even before that. It's been a long while. I also love puzzle games, which is how I got into Tetris, and still dig the classics such as Pac-Man, Joust, and Robotron. The occasional Shoot 'em ups, which I understand are called Shumps now, are also intriguing to play time and again.
