In 1995 Catherine, a quilter with a background in art, joined forces with Carole, a quilter with years of retail experience. They have created a dynamic shop where local women can gather to learn and share tips and techniques while browsing through a wall of buttons and four thousand bolts of wonderful fabric.

Button Box is a busy, bustling shop where people come just to enjoy themselves. The shop specializes in contemporary prints, vintage replications from pre-Civil War through the 1950's, as well as ethnic fabrics imported from Africa and Australia and an extensive collection of Oriental fabrics. Button Box offers a wide array of classes taught by nationally recognized quilters as well as local favorites.

Come meet the exceptional staff Helga, Doreen, Sue, Lynne, Janet, Gerrie and Evie as well as Catherine and Carole. They will offer advice, provide inspiration and suggest wonderful fabric combinations. Doreen also services Pfaff sewing machines and maintains the website. All of the staff are quilters, many are prizewinners. All are friends dedicated to the shop and its customers.
