Our brief visit to London turned out to be shorter and less involved than originally planned, so this will be a very short entry!

We arrived in London around 11am in the morning, on our way to meet up with Nicola (one of Rob's cousins) at Victoria Station for a cup of coffee / tea.  We had a nice chat and then Rob and Kathy headed off to the airport and Nicola back to work.  The lounge for British Airways is wonderful!  We both got to take a shower before boarding our flight and we both used the internet connections.

Our flight to Cape Town wasn't full so there was plenty of space.  The seats reclined all the way and Rob was in a seat that faced backwards (kind of odd looking towards the back of the plane).  The food was great and we both had the chance to watch some movies before going to sleep.
Editor's Note:  During our stay in Spain we found out that the iGo adapter for Kathy's computer doesn't recharge the battery.  We contacted Jeanette who mailed the adapter to Syd & Leisje in Bedford.  We waited for the post to arrive on Monday but the adapter didn't show up so we hopped the train after asking Leisje to call us if the adapter did arrive (otherwise she offered to bring it back to the states on their trip in November).  Well, as fortune (or misfortune) would have it, no sooner than we stepped off the train in London, we received a call that the adapter had arrived.  At that point we went to Victoria Station and left Kathy with the luggage while Rob hopped a train back to Bedford to pick up the adapter.  The train arrived in Bedford at 1:08pm with the return train to London leaving at 1:21pm so things worked out well.  Rob called Nicola and we had a nice chat before heading off to the airport.
