POI is the most flexible navigation tool on iPhone and iPod Touch. You can add new search criteria to expand your reach, while you can add sub-criterias to narrow your search. Not only you can find out what is around you now, it also allow you to explore a new neighborhood before you get there.

POI take full advantage of the GPS function on the iPhone and the location approximation on the iPod touch to location where you are and measure the distance between you and the search results.

• I am hungry and I just want to know where is the closest restaurant.
• Launch POI.
• Wait for the current city and state is displayed in the top text box.
• Tap on "Restaurant"

• Tap on "Any" or
• Tap on a specific kind of cuisine you like.
• if the cuisine or the restaurant chain is not in the list. You can add it to the list, see "How to add a sub-criteria" for details.

• Tap on the restaurant you are interested in.
• Tap the phone number to call the restaurant to make your reservation.
• Tap the address to located it in the Map.
• Tap the URL to visit the establishment's Home Page.

• Launch POI.
• Wait for the current city and state is displayed in the top text box.
• Tap the top text box.

• Type the city and state of the place you are interested in.
• To switch back to the current location. Tap on the blue button.

• Tap the "Add" button.

• Type the new criteria you want then tap "save" or "Canel" to return without saving.

• Tap "Save" to save the sub-criteria or "Cancel" to return without saving.

• Draw a line across a criteria or sub-criteria.
• The "Delete" button appear and tap on it to delete the selected criteria or sub-criteria.
