STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Writing a college recommendation for a student is invariably a time consuming process that usually takes months to complete. In addition to writing a critique about a student's personal and academic qualities, it involves the teacher in collecting college applications from many students and mailing them, with the recommendations, to the colleges before their respective deadlines.
A student appreciating the time and effort a teacher spends on his or her behalf should act responsibly to minimize the teacher's work. This will be accomplished by following these two guidelines:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Follow all instructions religiously.
